Well quite a lot has happened since we were in Lourdes on the weekend.
We left Lourdes after a big English Speaking mass and headed off to Loyola and Burgos Wherrett we stayed overnight on Sunday night. The visit in Lourdes was interesting - hearing about the life of St Ignatius and seeing where he lived and visiting the Church that had been built on the site.
We got a good sleep at Burgos but Mass was different for the Feast of the Assumption. Archbishop Adrian and Mike just stood there because it was all in Spanish and the other priest did it all.
I'm really lucky here in Madrid because I have my own bed- the top bunk. Mind you, I have to keep asking Mike to move some of his things so I can get to bed each night but otherwise it is ok. A bit warmer than I am used to but when in Spain ...
Today's picture is of Tazzie and I beside a fountain in the Plaza de Espana which is just over the road from where Mike and I and the rest of the Tassie Pilgrims are staying.
Off to Mass tonight - starts sometime after 8pm spew will be late home again.
