Had a fantastic day in Rome today.
My friend (Fr) Mike celebrated Mass for us in St Peter's this morning in a chapel, a big chapel, and as we left after Mass we were right beside the altar where the Pope celebrates Mass - how good was that.
Later we toured the Vatican Museum and a whole lot of other places but after lunch I managed to get away from the crowd and spent some quiet time down by the River Tiber.
Will head to bed shortly as we leave here at 3.45am tomorrow and don't want to be blamed if Mike is late for the bus.
